Chester, NH is a quaint town deeply rooted in a rich history preserved by its older generation of residents. The epitome of the "New England Town", Chester still has a general store. 
 
Chester, though still small, has become Rockingham County's fastest growing community as people discover this charming New England town. There is a public elementary school and high school students attend Pinkerton Academy. White Pines a small two year liberal arts college specializing in photography and social services is located here. The Wadleigh library located at the college offers many cultural events for people of all ages. It sponsors lectures, exhibits, concerts and workshops.
